Ok so I finally got my 360, I don't know what took me so long but was getting sick of playing just emulators. I'm working on getting my game collection built up. I heard downloading from newsgroups is the fastest. I signed up for NewsDemon haven't had a chance to download any yet.

Did you already have some burned games or did you buy the ones on dhgate? They have a mixed lot that looks pretty tempting 40 games for the price of 1.

DON'T BUT ON DHGATE! Most of the games do not even have the stealth patch, if Microsoft find that your game is not real then they will ban your console from live.

It's impossible to get back on live after you are banned. You will have to buy another console in order to use live no matter what you do. There is no way around after getting banned. I buy my games locally, they charge $3 -$5 but they use quality verbatim discs. There Chinese companies use very low grade disc's which will easily get scratched. Trust me on this!

I paid $40 to get my 360 flashed, I could have gotten it done cheaper but the guy was pretty close by from me. You can do it yourself if you look on youtube but it required you to open up the console which I do not trust myself with. Anyways, good luck to you.

I almost forgot, keep your 360 updated on the latest flash firmware as you do not want to get banned from live.

Shoot I was just about to purchase 100 lot of mixed games for $160, I haven't used live yet, this is my first xbox, been stuck with a playstation all this time. I guess the chinese ones would still work if you don't plan on using xbox live or maybe you can copy them onto better quality discs with a stealth patch.

Is your xbox 360 console cracked? If your buying from DHgate, that would be the only way to play them. Yeah, I've perused Dhgate intensely for 360, PS3, PSP, and Wii games. If they were able to play on consoles without having to be cracked, I would literally have made tens of thousands off them. No such luck though. Only DS games work.

Well yeah I found a guy on craigslist that can crack it for $40. No I wasn't planning on selling them just for my own collection, I don't want to spend $600 for 10 games and downloading can take quite some time, would be easier just to buy burnt games.

They usually go for that much, or you can buy them locally. Make sure they use verbatim discs, ask them what disc they use!

So playing online with these under stealth is so you basically won't be detected? But works the same as for your records, stats, etc... as with the non-modded systems?

Ok, the person who makes your games need to put a special patch so xbox does not ban you from xbox live. Microsoft has this advanced system which detects if the system is modded or not. Your system will be exactly the same as the original you won't even feel or see the system. People won't even know if it's modded or not.

Thats pretty cheap..but do they have a stealth patch..and also shipping will be pretty expensive from Thailand to USA.

i know a guy of ioffer he dose a good job he did my liteon drive for $55 cause it was alot of work to do but older drives is like $35 and i think that includes return shipping! only catch is u have to take out your dvd rom and mail it or if u send the whole system i think it cost more for shipping.

and it has to be flashed with iextreme LT firmware to play online and also the games has to be stelth patched but most games u download will alrdy be stelth patched.

Lol, first of all, why would you burn them from blockbuster when people are selling burned games for less than $6...

Never mind I found a place to download em free, thinking about jtagging my xbox looks complicated, I need to brush up on my soldering skills anyway.

I've been wanting to get either a PS3 or Xbox 360. Can't decide which to get. Looking for the easiest one to play burned games. I think I'd rather the PS3.

I have a PS2 and jailbroke it to play burned games but it doesn't look as easy with the PS3 or Xbox 360.

I've searched torrents also, can't find very many games on them either.

Bought the console and everything from him, did a good job takes about a week. I use gamefly to get my games, I can get about 8-12 games a month just off the $20 plan, and purchasing my own verbatim disks the total cost comes to about $5 a game.

Overall I'm very happy and have about 50 games I haven't got to play all them there just waiting for me lol... haven't had time but I have played ufc 2010, red dead redemption, gears of war, assasins creed... all amazing games

I would recommend a xbox 360 lakeman, I was a ps2 guy myself and then stopped playing for about 4 years and then decided to get a new console and went with the xbox just has more quality games if you ask me

Only downer is since a new security patch came out for new xbox games is I'm going to have to pay someone to update my firmware again in order to play new new games like assasins creed brotherhood. But I'll get that done in late 2011 cause I already got to many games I havent played plus I don't care about live I don't use it... i enjoy playing by myself story mode :D

I haven't had that yet but installing a 12 volt fan is supposed to help avoid it.

Do you burn them to dual layer DVDs? My PS2 games fit on regular dvds, but these are quite a bit bigger.


123, so you rent them then burn them? That's a good idea, get as many as you can and copy them. I use to do that with Redbox dvds.

Memorex DVD+R is what most people use, you can also use a pc hard drive so it can read more types of media and dvds.

carefull download off torrents alot of 360 games have trackers in it now which infromes mircosoft then they will infrom ur isp and u will get a warning letter about downloading copywrited stuff and to many warnings could end up in legal problems.

You're supposed to use a vpn when downloading torrents.

Or use peer guardian. Its basically a firewall that blocks certain ips. You can get the blocked ip lists from I-BlockList | Lists
