Apple iPad - Who's Getting One?

I'm seriously thinking about getting one this weekend.

I like the fact that it's more convenient then a laptop, has twice as long as a battery, runs off wifi and 3g, it's fast and stylish. The price isn't too bad either.

Anyone else getting one?

You should looks at the reviews, they gave out test samples to critiques. You should check them out online..

It looks like a huge ipod..I personally wouldn't buy it. I might as well get a mini laptop. The ipad is not small, and can not fit in your pocket.

I might get one. Problem is I still am not too good on using the Ipod. Might take me another year to master the Ipad.

It's like any other laptop, so you are probably allowed to make stealth accounts. Before you even get your hands on the Ipad you should wait awhile since there are always bugs found in them. Like the iphone 2g.......

So I got an iPad, and I find it's pretty nice to work with. I'm using it now.

I didn't fall for the hype to have it first so I decided to wait since many do come with bugs that need to be fixed. However, I think it's a waste of money to get one if your mostly home and not a AT&T customer. That's unless you got disposable money from eBay of course.

I bought 3 of them this morning. I bought a 16,32 and 64Gb. Keeping the 64 for myself and selling the other 2 on Ebay. The profit from the 2 I sell will help pay for mine. I actually love it. I fly quite a bit so it's better to watch movies on than my Iphone. But the apps are really lacking right now and most of the games I bought and have on my Iphone aren't compatible with the Ipad yet.

@Offical I won't make a huge amount of profit off of them only around 25% return on investment but $200-300 profit total off of both of them for not doing anything isn't bad.

Well I sold both of them and before Ebay and Paypal fees i made $320 profit. Not too bad

I hope those who bought the iPad haven't decided to use it yet. Many bugs have already been reported. Thank god I'm patiently waiting.

I know they are reporting some people having wifi issues but I love my Ipad. I am flying out tonight and looking forward to watching movies on it instead of my Iphone.

I haven't had any problems with mine.. I'm watching spartacus: blood and sands series right now. The only thing it lacks is more apps.

Other then that it's great.

Yeah I am a little disappointed in the selection of apps right now but it will get better

Apple do not make the apps. Third party developers make the apps, if the developers feel the ipad is profitable for them to make apps then they would make them. Currently the ipad is very new, and the market is not guaranteeing for the developers.

The iPad is a brainwashing phenomemal device, But I approve!
Tried it at the Apple store yesterday and it's pretty interesting, it's like a handheld baby device. Carry it whenever you walk and wherever you go lol.
The people were like Zombies or like people who are new to technology.
They wouldnt leave and would beast ansd skip me to get to use it
