Please Help with possible Fraud???

I went to this merchant's website and bought some goods, to my greatest surprise, the merchant sent me an empty envelope with tracking number. I got mad and asked why he did that and to request my money, he never responded. So i did a charge-back for item not received, and he reversed it claiming item was delivered. My credit card company reversed the charge-back. How can i win this case? I still have the empty envelope with me. Please, any good advice on how to go about it????

I need my money back badly!

You need to learn the rules. If he can provide tracking then you WONT win an item not received dispute. You need to do a charge back for item not as described. Send your credit card company pictures of the tracking number stuck to the outside of the empty envelope.

the case cannot be won this way...in future, when receiving empty envelope, state it is not as described and you want a return refund, and return with tracking...

I think the merchant screwed up. He can't simply charge you again, he must submit reply to your cc chargeback request. Just follow up with your bank and make sure to state All the facts and provide proof if required.

I already faxed the picture of the envelope with the tracking number stuck outside. I stated all the facts as "Item Not As Described". I'll let you guys know the outcome from my credit card company. Thanks again for all ur support and advice!

you need to refuse to sign the package if you open it and found it is not right.

Please, does this take so long for the CC company to act. Faxed documents on Apr 20, called them back on Apr 22 and was told they got the documents and are still working on it and would get back to me via mail letters. Is this the procedure? Or i have no chance of winning the case, this is freaking me out.

?Friendly fraud. No such thing. Changed the title to 'help with possible fraud' :peace:

Might take 6 weeks. The CC will be checking everything is kosher. They will be checking for the possibility of a scam.
Funny for a merchant to make that sort of mistake. What was the item & its value? 'Cos this really interests me:peace:
