I bought my first item from dhgate and I was immediately swindled.

So I pondered how should I proceed with my claim that I could win? I surmised that if I filed my claim with PayPal, I would immediately lose since I signed for delivery. If on the other hand, I filed my claim with dhgate, they would drag me into futile negotiations with the seller knowing full well that they would eventually offer partial refund provided that I shipped the item back at my expense. This was unacceptable because I would again expose myself to seller cons such as tricking me to shipping to wrong address, failure of EMS to get delivery confirmation or outright custom's confiscation.

So I filed with my bank and I do not need to do anything other than making initial statement.

Dhgate did contact me and tried to trick me into agreeing to return the item back for full refund. They asked 'if I want to ship it back or not. Screw you dhgate.

If you do not mind revealing the sellers name and type of item it would help others here avoid making a purchase from him/her.

i am sorry to hear that,you should ask them to pay the return shipping cost firstly if you send the goods back to them.The best way you can do is not do business with them any more.Find another good source

So much for their state-of-the-art escrow service. I'm not too experienced with this but, I've read from a few different threads that filing a claim on Paypal for an "item not as described" usually does the trick. If what you were buying is not counterfeit than you could take some pictures of the scam package or whatever they sent you and most likely win your money back.

I can't recommend dhgate for software. You are basically dealing with pig farmers who have no idea what they are selling. Ebayers look like geniuses compared to those guys.

You must choose wisely on DHgate, there are many good sellers, but many bad also.

You would be foolish to attempt to buy branded goods, that's the main area where people get scammed.

just do it carefully and safely ,i think you will find the good supplier sooner or later.branded product is profitable for selling but you have to find the right supplier and find the right way to sell.

Teedon, please don't encourage the purchase of branded products on DHGate. ALL branded products will be counterfiet, and will either end you with a suspension, or a law suit.

I wish people rounf here had the drive to earn the money legally.

Yep..you can find many other items to sell but you have to look around.

i donot recommend the people buy the products from DHGate,as the service is not so good and the fee is so high.of cource if you can do the business very well with the original products,it will be more better. but i do not think all the people can do it .
