Why would you want to buy a computer on a chinese wholesale site? You can get cheap laptops brand new for like $300 at Best Buy. Or get a refurb from like Buy.com

It says currently bought and use or used so that would mean actually using and not reselling

I don't necessarily want one. There are more computers in my house than I can shake a stick at. I was just wondering if anyone ever bought one and used one and what was their experience. Quality? Longevity / Life? How are the Chinese brands? How are their brand name copies, etc?

I remember reading a post here that talked about having multiple laptops to manage many, many accounts. So, that got me thinking........I saw some small screened laptops for under $100....just wondering if anyone has used any before.

yes, the small screen ones are a bit of a pain, just too small. I have a 10 inch netbook as one of mine and works fine, all the insides are pretty much the same as brand name computers

I actually sell them, Like a Lot of Products out of China it really depends on which Factory produces them. Even though A lot of them have THE SAME EXACT SPECIFICATIONS when you Compare them side by side some are a Whole lot better that others, the battery is the most Glaring, notice that on those websites that sell these Units like Dhgate the sellers hardly mention Battery life, and a lot of those that do are not telling the Truth.

Another thing is the CPU they may say INTEL ATOM N270 or Whatever, sometimes they are what they say. sometines they are Lower intel models that are overclocked, sometimes they are not even Intel CPU's they are VIA's, so like Everything else, Research, Research, and More Research.

The ones that I carry are pretty solid, they actually are what they say, battery life in "Real World" use is Decent 2-3 hours depending, not the most Rugged, but if you take care of it it will Last for a Couple of years.

Teedon is completely right. The price in china for a laptop is not cheap as many of you believe it is. I used to resell laptops, and the prices can start from $60 all the way to $300. The $60 are very crap, they only have very little ram, barely enough to watch youtube videos. You can not check your email on them and the performance is very limited. There are also $300 laptops, which are amazing but they have heating issues...
