She spents millions on her ads using our fees.
I would hope most ebay victims don't vote for her, she's
a horrible person. Her commercials are horrible
she's gonna screw us all, the same way she screwed
ebay.

Meg Whitman has to do w ebay and most of us feels
the same way..

I don't get a vote obviously, and wouldn't vote for her anyway - Being stupid rich doesn't make you a good politician... but wasn't ebay better and easier when she ran it?

Not that it matters, more than one person effects how that place is run... but I always thought it went down hill when she left

Per a Wiki about her, she was President and CEO from 1998-2007, and then stayed on till late 2008 as an advisor to help the transition. That really wasn't that long ago. Maybe a year and a half that she has been gone. Do you think it has gotten worse that quickly? Or are we still feeling the effects of her "Reign"?

Not really being argumentative, just really want to get peoples opinions as I really didn't sell on eBay much from 2001 - 2008.

Very good point. The rules that rolled out after she left were surely in the works for awhile...

I think the current state of ebay and paypal is simply a shotgun approach to what was likely rampant fraud and paypal irretrievable losses. I bet the amounts are staggering when added up.

It was John Donahoe Who Replaced Meg Whitman as Ebay CEO, and it was John Donahoe who decided and Initiated Ebay's transition to a "Fixed Price Market Place" so that Ebay can Be More like Amazon, It is this transition that has Made Ebay more Difficult to Deal with.

so when Meg Whitman was CEO of Ebay things were Better for Sellers.

If Ebay continues this Transition as some point Ebay will be as Difficult as Amazon to sell on. The Good news is that despite all the Positive Publicity Ebay is Creating on the Success of this transition, the fact is that their earnings have been gettig worse, so there is a possibility that they will Slow or Stop this transition,,,,Just a Possibility
