ip question for the ones who know...
 

I was blocked from a website i think because everytime i go to it it just goes white, but when i access from another ip then it works and other people access it and it works. i have a dynamic ip so i think it changes everytime i start up the pc or disconnect the power cable and reconnect the power cable to the modem. so did that website probably blocked all the ips that they have to my dynamic changing ip or no?

A lot of hassle to block your whole range, so if they did, they dont want you around it would seem. But test it first..

Probably a combination of ip blocking and cookie tracking.
Use CCleaner to clean all the cookies including Flash. Unplug modem for a few seconds. Then run box>>cmd>>ipconfig/release
Go to network connections and right click on your active connection and pick repair.
Chick ipchicken.com before you disconnect modem and then after to make sure your ip really did change.

There is a slight possibility your entire IP range is being K-Lined, but you usually have to do something pretty bad for them to do that.:D

yea, i just tried this proxy and it took me to the website. so i was blocked.

Are you connected through a router? If you have 2 or more machines connected through a router they may both have the same IP which would definitely cause that problem. Try connecting directly to the modem and see what happens. If it's the latter, you can try resetting your router.

This is late, but I changed the ip and now I can access the website. So they only blacked out an ip. Thanks all.
