Default Which Operating System you use?

I use Linux and Ubuntu Linux. I'd say it's the best OS to use, simply because it's been the only OS I've used.

I tried to use Windows 7 but it's too...much like cartoons. It's also very limited to what you can do, like your restricted by chains lol

What's your favorite OS?

XP on one and Win 7 on the other. The more I use Win 7 the more I am leaning towards liking it more than XP.

I buy a Brand New Laptop every other year in November.

Last November Windows 7 was out so that is what I'm using and I like it.

Thanks to Burning's low priced keys, was able to put Windows 7 on our 3 year old desktop for next to nothing.

Four of my computers ALL have windows 7 ultimate. Just imagine the costs involved if I WERE to purchase windows 7 retail version at a store..

Now, I can't imagine people paying for software. Everything of mine is torrented.....

Btw, has anyone tried ubuntu. You can have dual boot..

Dual boot is not recommended but it's awesome. Ubuntu is the best, especially for your security needs

It depends on what you're trying to do. I used to do it for airmon-ng suite. but depends.

Lets see.....
Mac OSX - 2 machines
Windows XP - 2 machines
Windows 7 - 5 machines
Ubuntu Linux - 2 machines

Now I am using VMWare and getting rid of the machines.
So I will just be living in a virtual world with many OS's and 1 nice machine.

Holy **** you have 11 computers!?

Are you trying to find the Matrix or something

My laptop came with Vista, I hated it. It was too much of a bother to learn how to and actually do the work into downgrading to XP, so I just stuck with it. Now I'm pretty much used to it, not much of a technical guy so it does the job.

8 are dedicated to Amazon/eBay
1 is my MacBook
1 is my Desktop iMac
1 is my isolated shipping computer

This 11 does not count my wife's or daughters.
+ the 2 other older ones that are in the closet.

I use Windows 7 64bit version, it is way better than 32bit which I had before. I think I will stay with it for a long.

HWGA I like your computer-dedication to Amazon and eBay separately - zealous but effective. Cheers.

For any machine for business I will stay with XP. I know it and can trust it isn't doing something I don't like better then all the new crap

For personal I play around with them all. 7 seems nice, but I wouldn't trust it with business stuff. Just too new and MS has some bizarre ideas whats best for users...

I am wondering, with VMWare, how does it work as far as IP's? Do you need to buy them through VMWare? Does it use your current connection? Also, how hard is it to install? I would love to use this too, i will look for someone who can help me set this up.

VMWare has nothing to do with your IP Address.

Continue your research and you will receive the knowledge you seek.
