My first EMS order!

I bought a package from China as you do, I paid the supplier 90usd it weighted 1.5kg.

It took about a week and half went through customs first and everything to get London UK i wasn't home at the time my gf signed for it, i'm wondering now is there going to be a charge import duty? tax? will it arrive by post later or will I not ever be charged for an order like this?

I'm rather confused, if anyone knows how this works please do share otherwise i'll call EMS tomorrow and ask them if theres any charges!

It's 5.49am now :sleepy: and i'm off i'll check this post when i wake up lol gnite folks!

Do not worry, you will not need to pay any import taxes or duty by ems.

I just received a work out exercise band and they had "electronics" on the package. I got a $20 band for $7.

:nono: Dont be fooled into thinking that having an item under priced on the paper-work will always fly and pass Customs.

Sure, it can, it does. BUT the very time you are waiting for the parcel is the time there will be duties you will hate to pay. By all means import ( except foo-foos™ ;)) but understand at some point Customs duties will be payable.
NB: directed at ya'll :pop2:

Say you do have to pay when does this occur?

When the delivery man is at your door with the package? if not does he let you know?

Or does it come by post?

In my experience at my last address I had one sent via DHL, I **** myself at first as I thought I owed a lot of money. They asked for like 7$ in import tax. I've since moved out of that house and never paid.
