The thing that a lot of people don't realise, is that you don't need to be a millionaire to live like a millionaire. Freedom is important for me, I know guys with millions who are not free and not so happy, perhaps the wife is controlling the purse strings, maybe he's working all hours to keep his wife in fancy handbags, and his kids in private school.
You can spend the whole of your life stressing and chasing the carrot in the hope you can retire at 65 and play golf everyday. Personally I'd rather enjoy myself now while I'm fairly young, and if I'm poor later in life, then fine ill live in a tumbledown shack selling potatoes and carrots at market, comfortable in the knowledge that I enjoyed life to the max when I was younger.
Just my personal philosophy, my life is rich enough, a few mill would be ok, but not going to work myself into the ground for it.
