Bad incident with buyers
 

A few days ago, I had a buyer on ebay interested in a few of my items and he asked if he could pay cash on collection. I said that it was fine, and told him my address. The buyer and another friend came to my house and looked at all the different designs (about 20 in total). Then, he just took a handful and headed for the door! I told him to stop and tried to grab the items from him but his friend started threatening me and saying that he would call the police on me for selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods! :eek:
I thought it was not worth losing everything I had to these people, so I let them go. In total they took about 10 of these items with a wholesale value of around £120, or if I was able to sell on ebay about £300. I have now removed all the other ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods from my house and stashed them away. The thieves mentioned that they would call the police on me for having ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods, but I have not got anymore so they would not have any proof. There are a lot of cameras where I live so I think I would have a good chance of catching them. Would it be worth reporting this to the police or should I just let it go?

You broke the first rule of all Craigslist and such in person transactions. You meet them in public in a crowded place. Be grateful it was only 120 and learn from it, it could have been a lot worse. If you do decide to report it, obviously don't mention they were ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods for resale, regardless it's unlikely anything would happen.

Ah that must have been awful for you. I have had people offering to come and collect in person before and I did think about what could happen.....Also it did worry me a liitle bit in people on eBay seeing my real address because it was a business account but it doesn't matter now cause stealth addresses!
These people are scum. Not worth reporting to the police though. At least you will know not to do that again.
