we did not have to worry about suspensions and limitations. If eBay let us sell what we wanted without having our items get pulled. If Paypal did not limit the amount of money we could bring in or holding our money for no apparent reason. If everything was just free of limits. If I had to deal with just one account that I could sell whatever I wanted, as much as I wanted and did not have to worry.

Of course there would probably be repercussions, too much saturation in the market, prices would plummet, profit margins would thin out, would become a scammers' paradise, however those problems would be much easier to deal with than the problems we have now imo.

Not so much complaining, I have a good amount of stealth accounts, but they can only take in less than $2k a month. Meaning if I want to make $30k-$50k a month in sales, I would need to manage a crap load of stealth accounts. And there are a ton of items I'd like to sell, but the VeRO makes it impossible...Whatever just a small rant I'm sure everyones thought about...

It would be nice but like you said the market would be overrun. But it's always nice to dream!

all you need to do is go back to the late 90's or up to about 2004 on ebay , it used to be great then.

I never sold vero , but didn't really have to worry about much other than just take the picture and write the description then. Not much else was really an issue. I even recall the days of Square Trade. -lol...

but those days are gone never to return. I was also younger then!!!

Many would like to do do 30k-50k per month as well, but i will take what I can at this very point in time. I just wish I had known about eBay Stealth and this forum 6 mths ago. I would not be where I am, but then again, I did not need it then, or better said , I thought I didn't. I knew enough to make several ebay accounts, just had no idea about linking and stuff.
Thought it was enough to just enter a different address!!! HAHAHAAA , laughing at myself!!

Sigh. Your utopia almost existed at one point. The early days of ebay were a bloody gravy train. And as long as you didnt rip people off you were set free to make as much money as you wanted.... Hell, even 4 or 5 years ago was pretty pleasant.

it kind of deteriorated bit by bit, but i would say that when meg Whitman left it was a big blow. Not so much tat she left , but the sack that replaced her. Just my opinon.

it started to get thick and fast when they took the no negging buyers, and has gone downhill from there

It did slowly become the wild west for buyers, ya. But there was also a time when it was a sellers scammers paradise. They had to do something. They just went from one extreme to the other. Most of the crap we have to deal with all rolls back to the scammers. If there were not people out there looking to rip other people off we would live in a different world today
