VM Workstation issue...

Ok, so I finally got vm workstation 7 set up, liking it quite a bit, I set up a few virtual machines on a brand new laptop...

I close out the program all vm's are off no drives mapped, I go back to my main o/s and try to load some software and...

It won't load but it will load from the vm's even though no drives are mapped, just can't figure it out...

If anyone knows let me know that would great other then that everything else is going pretty smooth, thanks in advance...

I have been using VMWare Workstation for a while and have not run into that.....
Are you using the latest version? 7.1?

jbluntz 11-08-2010 06:16 PM

Yep, 7.1 no updates available, was trying to install vzaccess manager for my blackberry since I already had a disc but I downloaded it, shouldn't be much of a problem since I download all my software anyway, just kind of srtange why it does that though...

Re: VM Workstation issue...

I know this is a old thread but since I still have vmware 7.1 I wanted to ask a question. I have had this software for years no problem and have many virtual desktops setup under this software with vpn service.

However recently I tried setting up additional virtual machines with the same os windows do but I can't get any to connect to the internet but the other ones I have set up still connects to internet just fine.Anyone else have this issue or know how to solve this issue?

Hi Agnostixx, thank you for the reply. I have tried both and for some reason I keep having issues trying to connect to a page in a new virtual desktop but my old ones work fine still. Can you maybe give me a example?
