Opening Online Bank Account

I'm going to open up an online bank account for the first time, now my question is how do I send the online banks money in order to open up a checking account. Do i pay with a credit card, or what? Also how long does it usually take to receive the debit cards? I'm looking for the cheapest bank, and I have the Amazon Ghost book, i think someone stated that it was $5 for HSBC, but i'm not 100% sure.

i think minimum is $1, you can transfer from an existing bank account. no problems with them yet.

B of A has a $1 minimum balance. You can fund by debit card, wire, check, etc. Takes less than 5 business days to receive everything in the mail. Opening accounts online is the way to go, it really is quick and easy just follow the steps.

Is this bank good for paypal stealth? Any problems withdrawing on mismatched names?
