Everyone gets atleast $600 from Government
 

If you get a pay envelope, Uncle Sam's about to put a little something extra in it. And he wants you to go out and spend, spend, spend.

Starting around May, most taxpayers can expect a $600-$1,200 rebate from the federal government under a deal announced Thursday by congressional leaders and President Bush.

The deal came together with unprecedented speed as Congress and the White House moved to begin rushing the tax rebates to most tax filers by spring, hoping they will spend the money just as quickly and jolt the ailing economy to life.

Rebates would be even higher for families with children.

Individual taxpayers would get up to $600 in rebates, working couples $1,200 and those with children an additional $300 per child under the agreement. In a key concession to Democrats, 35 million families who make at least $3,000 but don't pay taxes would get $300 rebates.

Dont make plans to spend it yet, the senate is revising the plan and may fight with the house on the details....not signed into law just yet

Last Year, I remember getting some kind of "advance " check from the govt.. was it like $300 or $500?? i think everyone got one?? i cant remember

Thats for them to add more checks for the elderly, disabled veterans, the unemployed and businesses who will not be getting one.

You are right, it is not signed and sealed, they are still fighting over the details, the senate version would make sure elderly, disabled vets get it and extend unemployment benefits. Stay tuned.....

Inflation is coming as well as many other things. USA will never be the same. Dollar is becoming worthless.
couple of years ago you could get gold for $200 oz and now $930 oz.. gold is about to hit $5000 oz in next few years. I went to russia not long ago and taxy cab driver didn't want to take $ he vanted euros. Most places in the world use euros insted of the dollar now. Most americans dont want to belive it is happining and us media don't want people to panic. us is printing $ money like crazy this year like there is no tomorow.

Update: This was finally signed by George Walker and checks start going out in May.

my $1,200 is already spent. i will have to send it to the credit cards that i had to jack up after i had no money coming after being banned from ebay.
