Thumbs up Who still has a 9-5

Who here on the forums started selling on ebay and it became such a good venture that you started making way more then your normal 9 to 5?

i did when i was 19 and going to school. i was makin 9.25 an hour workin 35 hours a week and goin to school. i started on ebay as a joke with my friends since they said i could do something like that. i started on there and it took off. a year later i was making 6 figures. that went well for years until the economy took a ****. went back to work for a year and now i am back on full time for now. not making the money i once was but its nice to be back. gf wants me to get a job tho and im just not sure about that since i dont know anything else other then ebay.

ill prolly be doing this **** my whole life. im 27 now and i couldnt imagine going to wrk fulltime when i can make more online and jerk around for most of my day and do what i want. call me lazy or call me lucky or call me what you want. this is what i know... ebay + easier life (as long as its treating you right and not banning you for stupid ****)

I admire all of you guys specially if you have a realiable supplier. I'm still young and not very lucky and fortunate as many of you are but I am hoping to get there soon!
I will continue my search with hard work and dedication.
I've been absent from the forum for about 3 months and basically used all my savings. Still no 9-5 though but i've been struggling due to this economy and almost see myself there if I don't get back up soon.

The money is good, but the addiction is not. I actually just now started turning down lots of money due to the computer bringing me lots of health issues that will stay with me for the rest of my life. The money is good, but health is more important, so i am slowing moving away from all of this, it is really hard when you have a computer addiction, people wouldn't understand it until they have this addiction. I am going to find me a job, and make money other ways, hopefully i'll have all of this done by springtime.

I need another job that interacts with people face to face. Selling on ebay at home can get boring every now and then. Anybody hiring? LOL

I have a regular 9-5 that pays really really well. Luckily my employer still offers matching 401K up to 25k a year so I have been putting that much in for retirement. Its like a 25k yearly pay raise! I still have some take home and then all the extra from Ebay and Amazon. Sure I could stay at home and easily pull in 100k a year online but I would get bored pretty quickly!

8-5 mon-fri for me, plus school yeah round. I have big dreams and in reality amazon takes up little time every day, even managing 5 accounts. Drop my packages off during my lunch break, just prepay all the shipping so I just leave em on the counter, still have time afterwards to go lay on the beach for 20 mins before back to work haha

Amazon is the way forward, lower maintenance, higher margins if you think outside the box.

I'm working full-time online, but to be honest i'm considering returning to a 9-5 of some description. Maybe I will do something I actually enjoy for lower money this time, and do my online stuff as an additional income. I miss interacting with people face to face, and it's nice to know you will get paid which is more than can be said for the likes of Paypal.

I still hope one day to be like Tim Ferriss author of 'The Four Hour Work Week' :D

Im in school full-time for Graphic Design and I work part-time retail (sucks) but I was making a little bit here and there off of ebay? I hope to start making some good bucks off ebay but if not then I just may start selling "work" like some of my peers that $3000 minimum a week.

I started selling online about 4 years ago. Three years ago I voluntarily quit my job with severance package. Haven't looked back since although there were months were I didn't think I'd be able to pay bills. Have been able to pull through. I can't fathom going back to work for someone else.

My Story

I was working a 9-5, until i broke my knee and was on bed rest for a month. Broke my knee in 2 places, funny thing it was the best night i ever had LMAO! I was sooooo chit faced! Lmao!

That same month, i started on ebay 4 days later. That month i profit 3.5k. I was Hooked!

The pain meds really paid off, i do better research while on meds. Anyways, 3 years later im still eBayin And now came to love Amazon!

Amazon helps out alot. When paypal gets limited geuss what.....Amazon still rolling.

My best advise for people is this....Think outside the box And get creative. Make a game plan, set small goals that can be reached.

Remember, the income you can make online is always limitless (Regardless)

It is what you put into it.
