Digital Camera Keeps Breaking

I take about 100 pictures a day. I am going through a camera every 2-3 months. Starting to get annoyed with it. I am using a Kodak v803. What cameras are you all using and how long are they lasting? Also do any stores have a in house extended warranty or do they all ship out for repairs?

Casio EX-Z75

I have been using this Camera for better than 3 years without a single issue.

I also average 100 pictures a day, and the Casio EX-Z75 has similar specs to the Kodak you are currently using.

I am SO impressed with my Casio that I have bought one for my Girlfriend and my Mom and Dad. Has a lot of Great Features! My favorite is the fact you don't have to press any buttons for close-up shots, which is a big time saver. :)

They sell on eBay for about $60 plus shipping if you wait it out for a nice boxed one with all the accessories.

What exactly is wrong with your camera?

Keep in mind that the shutter assembly have a limited cycle count.

Photography is a hobby for me, and I use a Canon EOS 7D. Of course, I'm not expecting you to buy something high end like that, but all Canon and Nikon cameras are generally better in terms of quality and performance comparing to their counterparts.

I did not know that about the shutter. That is the problem every time. TGMT I just checked that one out. Looks good enough for me. It isnt a fragile camera is it? As long as it is half way durable that will be fine. I havent physically broke one yet but im not gentle either. Thanks for your help guys. Happy ebayin....

@Snagga...

Nope it is not a fragile camera.

The same exact camera I use for my photos on eBay goes with me to Baseball games, trips and traveling.

I even bought a extra one and put it away...but haven't even got to use it.

Another plus: Batteries for this camera on eBay are about $3 each, buy a couple and rotate them, one in the charger-one in the camera. Batteries last about 500 pictures between charges without the flash.

I had an Olympus camera a couple of years ago, but it just gave one problems after another. I had to get the Olympus Camera repaired two or three times, as I had extra one year warranty provided by my MasterCard for all purchases.

I now have a Cannon camera, which I purchased two years ago, and it is still working. Not only does it take great pictures but I can also use regular sized batteries with it. I suggest you take a look on Amazon for camera's, there review system makes it easy to decide...
