Would you give a stranger, or old friend acquaintance a ride home?
 

Recently someone was murdered for giving a stranger he/she never met a ride home, because this person was very nice, and trusted EVERYONE. The victim was raped, and murdered, suffered head trauma.

Now my question to you all here is would you give a stranger a ride home if he/she asked you, or an old friend/acquaintance that you haven't seen in years asked you for a ride home, or to another place?

I would say no, I feel bad, but it is whatever, ask someone else, people have gone insane in this world. What do you all think???

I would blank a stranger as I went past them but I know I would end up saying 'YES!' to and old friend/acquaintance.

I would just have to hope they haven't gone all Ted Bundy since I last seen them.

All depends on the situation I would say - sadly, the world is not all roses and strawberry scones.

With regards to strangers, I would tend NOT to because you never know who is packing what these days - a young teenager could be packing heat and jack your ride, let alone your life so my recommendation would be no.

Old friend/acquaintance - true, on the same possibility but given that I know them, I would tend to give the ride.

As for the stranger, I might toss them some change for bus or phone call on the other hand.

When its one of those cold rainy days here in U.K. and I am driving around not doing much just kicking some drum & bass..... if I can be bothered, I pull upto a bus stop in the direction I am going and ask if anyone wants a lift as I am going in that direction!

Not done it that offen. Then I have had peopple just come upto me and ask if they can jump in if I am going their way. When that happens, I turn up the boost on the turbo and give it some! - funny until the day someone 'does me over'.

Also love chucking 'randoms' on the back of my motorbike and once I go through some safety talk and get them used to the bike, I pull over, explain I will be now going fast and to hold on round my waist and not to let go... then I proper give it some! - my ex-chick fell of the back of my bike on our 1st date when I was doing wheelies trying to impress!

That's funny lol, but i'm sorry that's just a risk I CAN NOT TAKE. I would just tell them I don't give rides to people I don't know, and to ask someone else in the nicest way possible, but some people are insane, but I can fight fire with fire if neccessary. I put that sentence in the most polite way as possible lol, but I think you all know what I mean.
