Default Which bank has the highest interest rates for savings, and cds?

I'm new to this, and I'm sure some of you are experienced with this subject, so does anyone here know which bank has the highest monthly interest rates, annual interest rates, and the highest for cd's? If anyone can give me a few names, please let me know, also I hear online banking has the highest interest rates, but i'm not 100% sure.

. LOL - most people on here just want a bank account - I should think the interest you get is of no consequence - but I'm sure another forumer will be along shortly. .

Don't get your hopes up, interest rates have been in the dump lately kind of not even worth the time, better off looking for other investment opportunities. A high interest rate now a days is a little over 1%..... so yeah look elsewhere

by 1%, do you mean monthly, or yearly? Someone here has to know something! What about foreign accounts, I hear they have high interest rates.

For example if you put $1000 in a savings account and don't touch it for a year you'll make a whopping $10.

Don't have much knowledge about the states-based banks and interest rates.

I guess you must be making, or expect to make some serious bucks if interest rates are an issue. Best thing to do is PM me with full details of what you are selling - I will of course keep it a secret. .

I don't sell much online, only sometimes, in the summer i'll pick it up, but for now i have money coming in elsewhere.

I'm going to look for something overseas to see if they have high interest rates, 1% just isn't cutting it for me.

Interest rates are pointless without some real money, even then it is taxed big.
