Package held in Chicago customs (w/a few skin care products)
 

Dear all,
i am expecting an EMS package from China but when i track it on usps.com, it says it is held at the Chicago customs. the package just contains one shirt, swim-suits (not brand names), and some skin care products (like 5) put together by my aromatherapist in China. I am just worried that they won't release it because it contains liquid.... what should I do? should i be prepared that my package is going to be destroyed?

Not sure about customs in USA but I have found it normal for my ems packages to be held at uk customs in coventry for a fews days-the packages have had cosmetics in them- lipglosses especially and I have had no problems.

They will contact you. It will likely be released.

update: checked usps, just got released from customs, no questions asked of whatsoever, wait time is short, seems chicago customs is quite efficient, legit items are good to go.

Good news. I didn't mean they WOULD contact you, I meam only if their is a problem with your package.
