facebook advertising

has anyone ever tried advertising there ebay and amazon products on facebook . i heard of people setting facebook fan pages and post there items form ebay there . brings in more clients .

sounds like good idea .

and thoughts on it .

Why advertise when you can create a facebook store? You can create a facebook store with checkout button,etc for FREE.
