ANY cool stories of FAMOUS people you have sold to???

I always like to hear these things.

myself I used to sell gag joke type stuff and sold some of this goo in a jar that looked like it had maggots in it. sold a quart of it to the Saturday Night live show a few years ago.

Then the other day sold a used air tool to the props dept of a very large production company that is making a movie called "Elysium" starring Matt Damon, Jodie Foster as well as several other very famous people.

I saw it was going to a props dep. and just emailed about it. He replied saying yes I was right about a movie and said it was "Elysium". He went on to say who all was going to be in it and that my tool was going to be used in a scene where there was a gangsters lair.

I thought that was kinda cool.

My only others that I know of is that I sold a pair of very expensive vintage golf shoes to a big golf pro on the PGA tour and a tool to one of Dale Earnhardt's Brothers or cousins, not sure which.

surely someone else has some story like these. I used to hear about them but havent in years.

Years ago I used to sell 'naughty' magazines and DVDs and I sold one to the Graham Norton show. He used it on the show.

Big companies buy stuff in person most of the time. If they are on budget cost they might go ebay world.

Ok, I have some real info :) I sell vintage music instruments, and in my buyers list are some world-class popstars: Martin Gore from Depeche Mode, Jean Michelle Jarre, and Franz Ferdinand.

I also forgot to mention. I sold some stuff to a guy that said he was the anesthesiologist on the show greys anatomy. He also was the start in my big fat obnoxious wedding years ago.
