Anyones Laptop Screen Ever Not Come On?
 

My laptop screen will not turn on for the life of me, can anyone help me out? I'm sure it has happend to someone. Thanks in advance!

Maybe it burned out? They can replace the screens, do you have a warranty?

As a temporary solution you can connect another monitor to the laptop by using the port in the back of the laptop.

I dont know, I'm checking on Dell right now. Thats what im doing, but its a monitor from like 1987.

Anyways, looks like me and ebayhateluv have worked something out with the PC. Should only be two more days. :) She is one hell of a gal!

Simplest could be that laptop was set for CRT only, you can change that using a button combination to switch to presentation or LCD only mode..

Then also screen coudl be bad:

Most common, bulb burned out.
Then, LCD power source is dead.
Then, LCD cable is bad.
Then, video card is bad (if CRT is working, then it's not bad).


LCD bulb is most common.
