How do you know what is "HOT" to sell in ebay?
 

Can anyone tell me how to find out what to sell? I do not want to buy 1,000 of something only to find out it does not sell. Please I need some advice.

Research is the word.

look under completed listings under advanced settings of search

You can find the hot items just by searching completed listings. I love looking for items that sell 20 or more times per day! :D

well depends also where you get your supplies from

Addition to the tools mentioned above:

1. http://pulse.ebay.com/ - a daily snapshot of current trends, hot picks on eBay
2. http://buy.shop.ebay.com/ - a list of popular search terms on eBay
3. eBay's Most Watched/Popular Items and Auctions [USA] + How Many Watchers - WatchCount.com - most watched listings on eBay
4. Hot Item Finder - software, does what it says
5. Hammertap - super cool software, you can use it for research and listing optimzation (it goes to the point of telling you what day and what time your listings should start and end for biggest profit, whether you should use auction or Buy it Now, optimal keywords etc)

1, 2 and 3 are free tools, the software you have to buy, but if you want, I'll share a download link with you.

This topic brings up a question that I have always been paranoid about. Will eB link you based on search patterns or specific research you conduct? Especially searching and watching auctions in the completed listings...?

I would love to get that download link, otherwise how much is the software? Also does it connect you to ebay? Just want to make sure what IP Im on.

I want to try terrapeak but I am actually going through so much crap right now, with family, having no place to really live, and now a medical problem (3.5 inch mass in my right ovary! tmi I know but geesh)
So I can not even really afford the tearpeak fee right now.
Any help would be so very much appreciated!
