weird habits?
 

I sit and pick the strings out of peach stones and eat them, til its clean, I break open plum stone and eat middle bit, I crack it in my teeth - people look at me...what about you ...

...Crack can do that =) rock on.

when ever i go into a shop and i see leaflets or something similar messed up and untidy
i tidy them up and make them neat,i didnt even realize i was doing it untill my partner pointed it out

i aint got OCD thats for sure but i do that all the time

My weird habit is that I keep smelling my dog and its so second nature, I seem to be doing it in public now - she does smell good though!

I like thinking about random objects: a dumbbell, electric cord, a ball, etc. And taking that object apart in my head and building something completely different out of it, usually something animated like a small remote controlled car or something else useful. Maybe this isn't a habit but just something fun to do.

I also like to tidy up store shelf's but only because I got into the habit while working at Blockbuster years ago. It's relaxing and weird. :)

Habits are surprisingly easy to form, it can be done in just two weeks of doing the same thing everyday.

I eat cherries whole - pits and all. I eat hot dogs and some other meats raw when I don't give a fug. There are others I will ID when I reflect hmm.

I eat a crunchie or kitkat a certain way, I pull the chocolate off with my teeth and it has to be in whole strips...I then am left with the centre, which I eat...I suck the inners out of grapes then eat skin...oh mango stones are a world of fun, they contain paper which I peel and then eat....in fact I peel and eat most pips and stones....

aspkin, not so much a habit but I have a thing I do in my head...I have a magazine game, in my head.... if I get time to read one, I have a budget of what I can buy per page say up to £1000, if I do not see things I like, I can carry the total over for up to 10 pages, then I lose it, sometimes I carry the total in the hope of something big and on page 10 I am disappointed with a bottle of perfume or something cheap, so I lose it and think I should have bought earlier...

people are weird.....

I'm not sure If this is a habit, but I lose my appetite whenever "newspaper" Is near me. The sight of it makes me sick to my stomach. I can not eat my food if there Is newspaper near me. That simple..........

I have a habit of drinking myself to sleep every night listening to my favorite house music. I also have a habit of hanging out at the gym too much even when I'm not working out. Also just picked up a nintendo at the pawn shop, my 360's getting a little boring, so time to make playing nintendo a new habit.

I like to pick my bougars and continue eating.

My friend at school 28 years ago used to do that. The teacher told him off and no one would talk to him except me - he was ok... - yeah you Daniel from Herga Court....you bougars boy!

Do you know - I used to think I was mad, or a little bit eccentric - compared to you lot of fruitcakes I'm perfectly normal !!!!!:lol::pound::peace:

This forum has become a weird work habit of mine =P

When hanging out the laundry, I color co-ordinate the pegs. Must be the 'same' type of peg.Laundry hung in certain order as well. Towels are hung in shades of color.:juggle:

Serving a meal, all plates must be from same set.

Only drink coffee or tea in certain mugs. Red with spots for coffee. Red with stripes for tea.
MOST important, only ever use a green toothbrush in winter. Use a red colored one for summer.
My pantry is in alphabetical order of items (& then sizes)
Shopping coupons kept in date AND time order.
Only use black biros or black ink.

No longer take me 8 attempts to leave the house. Got that down to 2 now. That saved about 3 hours of time.
ALWAYS sleep on (R) side of bed. Closest to a window. (in case of quick exit being needed).

Hardly ever cut paper dolls out anymore.:bounce:

Should also throw in walking around whatever auto I'm going to drive & kicking the tyres to make sure they are OK? (4 times 'cos there's 4 of them.) And checking the spare at least twice a week. Usually check that in middle of the night B4 I drive home. :rolleyes:

boogies.....thats not weird habit, I guarantee everyone picks their nose. whether they eat or flick is optional...I should start a thread on nasty habits....I have a blackhead obsession, I befriended a girl at school purely to get access to squeezing her blackheads.....
