So howcome they have to close even though its legal in california for marijuana?

The marijuana industry and laws that involve it are so open ended, and there is little to no regulation. That is my assumption. A medical discretionary purchases they marijuana from approved sellers, but at the same time it is night regulated at all. It is a drug and not evaluated by the FDA.

Under federal law, marijuana is illegal. Federal law trumps state laws.

Not that it is right.

But yeah, keep the stupid drug war going and fill the for-profit prisons, wasting another $100,000,000,000 per year.
