What are your opinions of drugs and alcohol?
 

Just wondering >.> I understand that most of the forums is either drinking or smoking or maybe doing some other stuff in one way or another.

Generalizations have no place in an effort to create discussion.

Work is my drug.

Why is it that you are not sharing your opinions first?

It is your thread, and if you want participation then your views should be expressed before others should be engaged for theirs.

People should be able to make their own decisions. If you want to drink, smoke, and do drugs.. Then drink, smoke, and do drugs, damn it! Just don't hurt anyone.

I'm negative on both. Can't mess with stuff that impairs my decisions. I don't party either, waste of time.

Drugs = no use for the body unless its necessary
Alcohol = kills the body = no point = unless you don't care about your body
Point = don't do drugs and don't drink as they taught us in school!

As for me, everything in moderation but when I was younger, I tried everything once - except roofies...might have to try that soon - apparently a very light dose is great as a relaxant at parties ha

As an 'older woman' I have drunk deep from the cup of life. I have (and still do) drunk too much. I have tried most of the illegal drugs that were available in my younger days and I have smoked for most of my life. I have indulged my passions.

I'm 60, I work 15 hours a day, enjoy great health and intend carrying on doing so

A man says to his doctor if I give up smoking, drinking, taking illegal substances and stop seeing mucky women will I live to be a 100?

The doctor replied no - but it will certainly seem like it!!

very well said GrannyT. me personally I smoked daily for years but now thankfully just a drink or an smoke an occasion is a treat:) On the other hand coffee is the one drug i can not live without.

Green juice and fitness is my main drug, even though have a history of drinking would rather not drink at all, I've drank enough.
