>> AMAZON.com Seller Acct- Taken Down + Back up in 3 hrs..

HI.. I had 3 Friendly buyers bid and then leave me neg fb on Amazon. My fb was 5/5, 100%.. after the 3rd neg-- this is what i got.. Then, I wrote them a letter _ suprisingly--Amazon actually does read their mail- 3 hours later--they reactivate my acct, after i asked them to really review my fb..
>> SO--Amazon does act differently than ebay..for sure!!!

Hello from Amazon.com.

Thank you for writing regarding the blocking of your Amazon.com
selling account. We appreciate your intent to meet our seller
Performance Standards in the future.

We have reconsidered your request for reinstatement, and have decided
to reactivate your account. You may now access your account and list
your items for sale once again.

Please note that your funds will remain temporarily reserved as we
continue to review your account. You will be notified when this review
is completed. Please allow up to 30 days for this review.

Please consider this account reinstatement as an opportunity to
improve any operational deficiencies. The following tips may help you
in your effort to improve your account's performance:

§ Reduce your inventory: Consider reducing inventory, especially if
high order volume is preventing you from providing efficient order
fulfillment.
§ Provide confirmation emails: Provide buyers with shipping
confirmation emails.
§ Clean up inventory: Review your inventory and remove any items that
are not available for delivery.
§ Ship on time: Ship orders within the prescribed 2 day shipping window.
§ Ship as advertised: Use the shipping method you advertise to ship
orders.
§ Issue refunds promptly: Promptly issue refunds in the rare event
that an item in not available for delivery.

Thank you for your efforts to bring your performance into compliance
with our standards, and we appreciate your business on Amazon.com.

If you sell on Amazon.com yes. I'm not sure what they do when you make a sale outside of their site though.

This was just a feedback suspension, not for anything else. All you have to do is tell them how you plan to implement a system to ensure all future orders are exactly what the buyer is expecting, its not hard to get around this kind of suspension.

Anway it is good news for get it back

jbluntz 03-05-2010 05:11 AM

Yes it is, Amazon is really pretty simple once you've been using em for a while, I just recently had 7 accounts go down the same day but I know exactly what I did wrong and exactly what to do to get back on and you can manipulate your feedback just like with ebay, it's alot of fun.
