What should I do with this situation ???
 

My son made an appointment for a windshield replacement today at 2pm. They said it shouldnt take more than 2hrs but we will call you when its done. They closed at 5 or 5:30 and left. NEv er called him or any thing. by the time he thought they should have called by now they closed up and no one answers any phones they have listed.

I want to take a ball bat there in the morning but not sure what the rest of the world would realistically do in this situation.

He had to call into work this evening and miss a 4hr shift and now has to find a way to get to the shop in the morning. I can really go pick him up but they dont have to know that.

Anyway, what is the normal thing to do here


I dug up some owners name to call the little ******* at home and no luck.

Im really pissed and probably should cool off before I do anything i guess. lol

If it happened to me I'd go in there ask for the owner or manager, tell them what happened and ask how I'm going to be compensated. If they give me something worth my trouble I'd be cool as a cucumber, if they give me nothing then I'd have some words. And I agree you should probably just let your son handle it on his own. I know if this happened to me and I told my dad the last thing I'd want is for him to go haywire.

You seem as protective of your son as I am of my daughter (but then she is classed as a vulnerable person for various reasons).

I am the immature one I guess out of him my wife and daughter. To me "punch first and ask after they wake up". is my philosophy but I know thats not the right way. I have always been a fighter in one way or another and it just the way my brain things i guess. lol

Her comment to this mess was practical things like "maybe they have the phone # down wrong" things like that.

I was at the location looking in the windows out back in their shop bays hoping to find a late working employee to beat on. lol.. Not really but.. you know.
