Fax?
 

What happenes when a person receives a fax, but there fax is offline or unplugged. When they turn it on the fax will go through or what will happen? Keep in mind this is a fax sent 2 days ago. Just curious?

Unless the sender tries to send the fax again, the receiver will NOT get the fax.

Fandango hope you had a great New Year's Eve!! Typically if the fax is unplugged you have a few options available to you in order to receive the fax.

1. Plug in the machine and then put in the code on the phone number keypad. Once you enter the number your fax machine should communicate with home base and let the fax go through. If you don't know where to find the code just google the model of fax machine and it's on the internet.

2. If that doesn't work maybe try calling the phone company and asking them to "release" the fax. Once your phone company does that then your fax will come through right away.

Actually if you have a fax machine ONLY, then if it's off, the sender's fax will keep ringing and give up unless instructed to keep trying (usually only for 24 hours).
