Past footballers are not like modern footballers...just coz maradona won a world cup by himself it doesnt mean he is the greatest ever. Its says that the quality of footballers worldwide were poor. look at the balance, agility, speed, technique of the modern day footballer...there are so many gifted, but back then there werent as many.

this is why football or soccer for u yanks is the greatest sport on the planet (my opinion only) So today it is alot more competitive than before...even the usa are good these days :clap: prob better than england!! However Maradona was one of a kind & has all of the above in abundance!! But taking these all into account & seeing players doing wot they can do & cant do... I would have to say that lionel Messi is the greatest player to grace a football pitch. he has it all & maradon is a close 2nd with c ronaldo in 3rd :amen:
