why would you go there though? i dont get it. why has he not moved to somewhere out of sight? how stupid can you be to think you can go and live a 'normal' life after that and get away with it.

and if that guy has spent that million on crap he is even more stupid. but my guess is he still has it. you wouldnt be able to put it in a bank. you wouldnt be able to buy things either as people will notice.

It is actually very 'hard' to be out of sight pretty much anywhere if a law enforcement agency is intent on tracking you down. This guy did infact evade them for a good part of 20 odd years barring the fact someone dropped him in it. He flew under the radar for a while. He used & impersonated his brothers US ID from what I have read of the story & hence the possible reason move to the US after moving around for a bit.

There are ways & means of 'losing' that money.:rolleyes:

bottom line was he was ok, until someone ratted him out.

as usual you can get away with alot of stuff as nobody expecting it or cares.

but someone who knows you is most dangerous.....take it as a lesson!

His kids did not know they were born in UK even.....
