Provided the account is in good standing it's doable.
paypal have been pushing for users to do this.
Friend booked a return flight valued at US $2100. Had no problems.
Here's a hint: make sure you have a least 10 days B4 you depart.
Have everything confirmed with the airline that ALL is in order.
Then should you turn up and be denied the flight you are covered under regulations.
I would not chance booking today for a flight tomorrow

You board the plane and attendent says = sir may I have a moment with you? Sir, Im sorry, but your limited and we need you to step off the plane - Lol.
Don't buy plane tickets unless its your legit account and your legit account has no problems.
What im saying is dont' buy from a stealth account unless you know what your doing correctly!

Lol well I bought is last night cost a little under 2k account was good and I opened it late October/2011. No chargebacks neither ebay/pp everything was good, got all confirmations etc... also tickets aren't until April
Was being prepared to be limited this morning or today, but nothing, so far so good, even if i get limited down the road, tickets are already purchased its not like they would return it... when u buy something today and it gets delivered, its not like they'll refund the company after it was already shipped

I would not do this myself with all the TSA stuff at the airports.
I would withdraw it to a bank account and use a debit card first.

I will not put myself into that position.
Do you fly much? I do and believe me if they single you out you might as well give them a stool sample anymore.

No not yet, but planning at least 3 trips this year... single u out for what, so that means I can't buy YOU a ticket to Bahamas?
Come on NA, that's being over paranoid, if something is paid for its paid for, they won't even let u enter the plane if the ticket is "f a k e" or unpaid for

What motive, unless it contained explosives in the HDD then that's your bad, otherwise, millions and millions of ppl carry/travel around with laptops day after day, people have rights too, don't forget that, only cause they ask to see your laptop doesn't mean u have to give to them whether or not you have something to hide, its called, unlawful invasion of privacy

Here's a tip. Always pay for Airline tickets in person via Cash or Card (Debit/Credit),
saves you all the worries and hassles of having your seat and ticket all of a sudden
being canceled due to something having went wrong. And yes, always ALWAYS confirm
your tickets and flight schedule at least a day prior to departing. Can't tell you
how many times the darn Airline messed up during checkout time with tickets.

Even if you were to buy airline tickets via PP, I would always use a CC to have EXTRA EXTRA protection (provided your cc has travel stuff on it...many cc's do).
