Affiliate Marketing anyone???
 

So I've bought alot of ebooks and I realized that alot of them had links to other sites. Then I realized these links in the ebooks were affiliate links. For example a direct link to ebay would be "http://www.ebay.com", whereas an affiliate link is "http://www.ebay.com/id=411guru"etc. A person gets paid commission if someone clicks on it and registers with the site or buys something. I bought aspkin's ebook and his is the same way.

I'm a complete noob to affiliate marketing so I googled it and landed on the warrior forum. There I found one dude who stated that he made $1000 a day, consecutively for 4 days. He had screens of his clickbank account and paypal. He was selling his ebook on how he did it. I bought it, then I realized its hard, like really hard. Basically you make a website promoting the product and you drive traffic to it buy purchasing google adwords which range from .50 cents to $2.50 per click. If you don't know what you are doing, you can lose big money. The guy said he only spent $50 a month.

So I want to get into affiliate marketing so I don't have to rely on ebay. I am wondering if anyone here is doing it and what are your results if you don't mind sharing? I read some people make .25 cents a day while others make thousands in 1 day.

it sounds like you don't know alot about these kinds of things, so if i were you i wouldn't take the risk, he got you, its a get rich quick ebook which is garbage, if you were an expert thats something else.

I do pretty well with affiliate marketing, as you pointed out. And yes it does take a lot of work, but it's very rewarding if you get something going.

I recommend reading the digtial point forums, search google for it. Good luck!

Also, give BANS ago, it's a fantastic piece of software, and is very easy to earn money off. I earnt my money back in about 4 days.

affiliate marketing is awesome. im moving to it from all this ebay stuff. its a very very steep learning curve (started learning about it in january and just now firing up some campaigns), but it seems easier than ebay with all its crazyness and suspensions and always living on the edge.

Exactly the same way i feel, but ebay is a useful evil, just like the devil is...

Hmmmm, ebay could be used to gain good traffic. Im too just getting started on affiliate marketing...been reading. For a while the most important thing traffic...

Hmmm, I been just starting to learn how to put up websites forums...Have a few up but im working on so many things, researching so many things. Researching marketing at the same time marketing...man is it work. Video marketing is good.
