actually in my humbe opoinion it is relevant that hes fat and thats why he has "issues" |
Thankful | 04-02-2012 12:29 PM | Ouch a fat chef no surprise there!
You say fat bully - but was he her manager? or headchef or something? sometimes it's better to just hang in there until you at least find something else in the meantime i think.
I used to work in the kitchen too at family run restaurant, it's a tough job as it is - to have whiny customers and rubbish staff makes it much harder environment.
But i suppose she may have had different or personal reasons for leaving the place i won't ask what - but would you say she had a valid reason for leaving it?
I certainly wouldn't let my misses leave her a job without a gooooooooood! reason! specially if it lowers household income no thanks lol. |
they_screwed_me_too | 04-02-2012 12:35 PM | they are both chefs on the same level, hes been there for years longer than her and is friends with the owner, he does little work and this ups her burden
he has a large mouth and hes also a compulsive liar (unless he really does go round to richard bransons and has cheryl coles private number)
I do think her reason is very valid but not sensible at the present time
personally id have given him the hairy side of my hand but i cant as it would cause problems at work for her
.........................ooh wait a sec |
Thankful | 04-02-2012 12:44 PM | hahaha i know exactly what your thinking now......
:shhh: |
serena | 04-04-2012 03:27 PM | You're lucky she is a chef; she'll find work easily enough.
Don't let her do what my partner did, and become a pretend business partner instead of getting a job. 7 years later, my partner still doesn't have skills or aptitude for any aspect of the business, and I have the pressure of supporting two people. I'm trying to strongly urge him to find other work now that I am starting over....not having much luck though. |
jeffweico | 04-04-2012 03:59 PM | Hey, guys, my CAT saw this thread and now he's in the corner crying!
:pound:
But seriously, can she sue for a hostile work environment? Here in the US it is illegal to harrass anyone at work (does NOT have to mean SEXUAL harrassment).
Also, sometimes it is just better to move on. It does not sound like this job was irreplaceable - she may be much happier somewhere else. |
@they_screwed_me_too, maybe your Mrs' should go into being a Private Chef. In the mean time your gonna have to beef up your sales. |
WasTopRatedThenBanned | 04-04-2012 09:28 PM | Thats funny. I quit, what do you feel like eating? hows ebay? LOL
"First thought was, uh something cheap". lol |

OMG:boink: | Looks like she might manage stealth quite well.
But then you would have to dedicate an entire room to be her business records library.
Because she would need all of these files for each account.
Then to keep them separate, she would need to place them in a separate bookshelf for each account.
And on top of these, for stealth, she will need files for
IP address
eB details
PP details
Bank details
VCC details
Name, Address, Personal Data details
LOL!!! :pound:
I thought I was bad...
Now I know that if you have OCD, it's not that bad.
There's something worse... called CDO!
:surrender: |
LOL
CDO a.k.a steathiusitus |

sounds about right

Elijah | 04-28-2012 12:35 PM | Funny, my sister cannot multitask at all, while I am very good at it. She is very messy and disorganised as well and I am the organised and clean one. I wonder what happened there...
For example, she would be using the computer and not be able to focus on anything else at all; she would not be able to hear anything else at all, even if it were a really loud sound. You would then go in front of her and she would be all like "huh?". Going in front of her is he only way to get her attention...
And she always litters the floor in tissue paper and packaging... and gets shouted at by our mother, who says that she will never find a husband if she continues like this lol. |
BubbleTea | 04-28-2012 03:27 PM | The messy and disorganised part sounds exactly like my sister...
The mum yelling part too!
And I am also the exact opposite.
However, both my sister and I can multitask.
Being able to multitask has nothing to do with being messy or disorganised.
Although she can multitask well, she just does not choose any tasks to do with cleaning and organisation... makes sense?
In fact, I think my sister is much better at multitasking than me.
There is an iPhone game called Anthill that requires a high ability of multitasking to do well.
It is a warfare game where you need to manage and take care of a lot of things at the same time.
We have both completed the game and collected ALL the stars for every stage. :peace:
I love the game.
If you try it, you'll get an idea about your multitasking ability.
There is a free version.
But it gets much harder in the later stages of the paid one.
Oh by the way, her bf does not like the same... maybe because he cannot multitask as he's male? Heehee... |
they_screwed_me_too | 04-28-2012 03:30 PM | my gf says shes an amazing multi tasker yet cant do sex and headaches at the same time
bizzare :heh: | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:36 PM. | |
