rsot 04-03-2012 12:14 PM

Sold to some female porn actress bout a decade ago - some brother of a popular basketball player on AZ...shrug maybe a few here and there.

Who is Louis Walsh?

I once sold something to an actual friend via a stealth account and he came over the next day and was bragging about finding a nice deal on eb - was funny since I did not tell him he got it from me =)

oompaloompa 04-03-2012 12:16 PM

I've sold to Pete Townsend 2-3 yrs back, i had one of the cheapest listings in the category at the time aswell - so came as shock that he would purchase - lives in a real posh area too.

P.S - He also never left me f/b!

they_screwed_me_too 04-05-2012 07:01 AM

I've never - that I know of - sold anything to a Hollywood celebrity, but over the years I have sold a lot of things to politicians, diplomats, famous authors and even a former Supreme Court Justice. Mostly my out of print books.

Edited to add: I was just reminded that I *DID* have a Hollywood customer several years ago, but it wasn't an A-lister or anything like that.

Omgoozle 04-16-2012 02:44 AM

I sold to an ex-girlfriend's best friend a few weeks ago via stealth.

oompaloompa 04-16-2012 03:30 AM

sold to a Russian oligarch once or maybe it was his son, anyway I delivered it myself, because I was nosey and wanted to see his house!!! no feedback either...

Elijah 04-16-2012 03:51 AM

I sold to a Jamaican customs/tax official recently.

mcmx 03-27-2013 07:16 PM

Has a celebrity every purchased from you on eBay?

Today I Googled my buyer's name and he turns out to be a decently know celebrity LOL. I personally didn't know of him until I looked him up on Google, however when I mentioned the TV reality show he's on to 2 of my friends, they knew instantly. Apparently there's commercials for it all the time too hahaha.

Has anyone else had a celebrity or just a semi-famous person purchase from them?

I know it's not that big of a deal - as long as I get a positive feedback then I'll be happy

Bunneh 03-27-2013 07:28 PM

Lol what made you look him up on google?

TGMT² 03-27-2013 07:28 PM

mcmx 03-27-2013 07:42 PM

oops, had no idea there was already a thread for this lol

I Google names often just because I feel like it lol. This was the only thing I was selling at the moment...normally if I've got all my Stealth accounts going at once with multiple orders a day I won't bother.

Sandy D 03-27-2013 09:31 PM

I recently sold to a wife of a New York Yankee.

I had to ask are you the wife of xxxxxxx?

She said yes I am are you a Yankee fan? If so I would love to send you an autographed baseball for giving me the opportunity to purchase this lovely item.

With an odd last name I just knew who it had to be.

I really need to send a note inside.

Damn Yankees cannot buy a championship anymore like they did 10 years ago can they?

:eek::eek::eek::eek:

rocketman 03-27-2013 11:15 PM

MM78 03-27-2013 11:44 PM

"Guitar provided by Slim Jim" which your entitled to $0.00001 per album sold.
One word: cha-ching!

Why would you want a NY Yankee player signed baseball?

The player had an awesome career going until he signed with the Yankees 2-3 years ago and has not done well since.

Drives me nuts when a team goes out and buys up players to fill every position like the Yankees did in the late 90s early 00's and now they cannot buy a pennant to save their butts. Which is a good thing.
