Activity: 0% Longevity: 95% | | Just Wanted To Complain! - about petrol prices
Wondered how browned off people are at the mo, with fuel prices... i prob average..1200 miles per week..and in the Uk... we have recently passed the £5 a gallon fuel price..actually, well passed it now... guess that equates to around.. $10 a gallon Us price... at this rate... i'm gonna have to use a bus..aint done that since school....and i dunno even what colour they are any more..

Geeze, that is very expensive for a needed commodity! No doubt that any government makes a lot of money on the sale of fuel. Much the same in OZ with its fuel prices. But here a gallon of petrol/gas is only 3 quid or US$7.00 approx. Best colour for a bus is RED!

Miss Green... the Red coloured Bus round here, is the 1 that picks U up sharply at 8 :am... and U spend the day in rooms with pretty lights and can use felt pens if..and only if....ur a trusted member of the Unit!
Uk tax on fuel is around 80%, making it well over $10 a gallon... so were encouraged to use BIO fuel... xcept producing that creates starvation in the poorer country's... bollocks to em... if they aint starvin there at war with each other..

in venezuela there's barely any space to walk on the streets let alone space for a $300,000.00+ car, its like time square over there, all the time.
But it would be nice to fill up your lambo. for only 2-3 dollars.
i guess you have to sacrifice some things because you can't always have it the way you like, you know why? because thats how living life works.

Yes, we in the States still have it good. Lets complain and moan when it gets to $5.00 a gallon. People in Europe have been paying that for years, and thats for 1.5 liters instead of a full gallon. I'm kinda glad this happened. I grew tired of seeing gas wasting House sized SUVs driving around with 3 mpg.
imjustme, you must live in the country side of Japan, as I have been to Tokyo many times and the price was $4.50 USD for 1.5 liter, like 5 years ago. One has to be rich to drive in Tokyo.
Venezuela, gas is cheaper than water. Or so says my Venezuelan friend.

HA, water should be free! Just happened so about 15 years ago companies started tricking noobs into buying bottled water. I've aways refused to pay for water.

yea, but the thing is im 100% sure people are angry about prices over there being so high at $10.00 a gallon, the min. wage over here is for ex. $5.00 over there its $10.00, its diff. everything over there is pretty much doubled.
how can you make money on 17cents a gallon, you would have to sell like 200 gallons to make $3.40 and outta that they would get like 40 cents, is it worth it? i don't think so, and i know for a fact its not that cheap to live out there, so people who sell gas over there bust their a** day and night and have multiple jobs to put food on the tabe, so i guess we have it good over here, but there are some cases like that over here, but not as big an amount.

2eXclusiive, where in the US do you live? Min. wage is $6.25 now. I do agree. People on min. wage can barely afford to live, if you drive to work. As for the 17 cent per gallon thing in Venezuela, Venezuela makes their own gas as they have a huge deposit of natural oil. Their president Hugo Chavez hates the USA and refuses to sell some to us, thus making us relay on Middle East oil. We do not make most of our oil.
Yes one does have to pay for tap water but its like $9.00 a month. All you do is buy a britta water filter for your tap. I fill them up in used water bottles to take along with me. For that $9.00 a month you could fill up maybe 100 12 oz. water bottles.

i live in ny, its around $6.75 over here but after taxes they slap you back to $5.00, min. wage is a lie, its after the taxes is what is actually YOUR MONEY, yea i remember on the news he called bush a devil, lmaoo
and i guess that explains why were in the middle east, his excuse "weapons of mass destruction" the truth oil = $$$$
and i also remmember on the news, hugo chavez helping some american families out with oil over the winter time, people who couldn't afford it and i thought that was exetremely generous of him to do, even though bush is supposed to be helping us out not hugo chavez.
