mixed race is a better term

Some people just look into the race issue too much sometimes - I think we all know when someone is trying be racist by the tone of voice they use and whats said of course.

I know mixed race people who say the term "half cast" I don't think it bothers them at all, each to their own i guess.

racism is all about context...not words

Thread is looking focus from ex-gf to going to racism...could become dicey.

While you're in school I would stay away from the single mothers. It will start out simple but then turn complex when the kid gets involved. Single moms are fun at first but quickly expand the family thing and you get trapped.

I would say bump and dump her.

Schrib, you have got some very good advice on here across the board. That area sounds more countryside/village type setup to me. I'm down London, so none of that rubbish up my way as you have anyone & everyone mixing & crossing each others paths daily.
