I kinda Understand Ebay

...ok dont kill me, and no im not ebay b**** but i actually kinda understand why they do what they do. I know many people complain about ebay and yes there are alot of things they can improve about the company, better customer service, being one of them.

Yes there is phone verification. OMG they call to verify accounts. It can be a pain but if they allowed people to randomly make accounts and list items all willy nilly without verification then people would complain about them not being more strict with their registration.

Before you could problably get 100+ feedback within a day or two buying ebooks so its not surprising they would ban them and suspend you for buying/selling. It defeats the whole point of feedback anyways.

They are making you use Paypal. Obviously, they own the company. They make more money when more people use paypal. Why not take advantage of that i would do the same.

Alot of the things that people complain about are understandable from an investors point of view. As a consumer you have to embrace their defects and exploit their loopholes. I love this forum but i think alot of space is wasted on people asking things that can just be searched easily and researched for less than 20mins.

It's a love / hate relationship for most people. But as of right now I pretty sure it's okay to say eBay is going to far with their recent changes, and it's doing more harm then good to everyone.

Repetitive posts do get annoying too, I agree.

ebay has gone way too far. some changes are questionable, some are good, some are just out right ridiculous, for one the whole forcing paypal only in Australia.

they have been going downhill for a long time now, and its just a matter of time before they are dealt there final blow.

I find that dealing with competitors who are able to sell lower than I can get items from suppliers is actually much harder than dealing with eBay.

Meh...
Final blow....after that they will still be billionaires.

And all the ebay monkies will just get laid off, go on employment insurance for 3 months, and get rehired for Gbay :)
