$900 Herman Miller Computer Chair
 

Curious, has anyone here purchased a Herman Miller chair, and if so is it worth it? I've never bought a chair that costs more than $250, but seeing as we all spend a lot of time on these things maybe it would pay off to pay a bit more, if it helps our back and helps us feel more comfortable. Also I noticed that the computer chair i purchased 2 years ago the leather seating starting to rip, these HM chairs come with 12 year labor and parts warranty, so maybe in the long haul it might even end up being cheaper than replacing a $200 chair every 2-4 years. Opinions?

I've been looking for a computer chair myself for the past couple of days, and it's hard to decide without actually testing it out. Most chairs are not made of leather, there made of cheap vinyl fabric. I've seen good board room chairs put up for sale on craigslist/kijiji with minimal use. Not sure how good they'll be, but it's better than purchasing cheap vinyl chairs. Anything made OTHER than leather lasts much longer..mesh, fabric and etc...

For my birthday my wife got me this chair.
