Feel free to suggest some more foreign movies guys | 1. Y Tu Mama Tambien--Mexican movie, English subs
2. Che part one, and Che part two, English subs--everyone's favorite Gorilla warfare person
3. The Motorcycle Diaries (Diarios de motocicleta)--English subs--when che took a road trip and found his life's calling
4. Leap Year
5.Wings of Desire
6.I Am Cuba
7.Last Train Home
8.Waste Land
9. The.Hidden.Fortress--Japanese film
Here are the ones that I love. I esp. love the first 3. Che 1 and 2 have to be seem in HD. |
| oompaloompa | 09-01-2012 04:06 AM | cross of iron.
enemy at the gates |
| yotano211 | 09-01-2012 04:11 AM | I guess this can be moved to the other movie thread. |
| yotano211 | 09-01-2012 04:13 AM | Iron cross looks awesome, I think i dont have it. |
| GreenBean | 09-01-2012 04:29 AM | Cross Of Iron is a Sam Peckinpah production.
Done around 1975.
Set in the final days, hours of the defeat of the Nazis on the Crimean Peninsula during WW2. Actual filming was done on location in Yugoslavia.
It's one of those movies where you 'smell' the fear, the horror.
In that vein how about Das Boot? (The Boat) Produced by Wolfgang Peterson. :thumb: |
| yotano211 | 09-01-2012 04:37 AM | Oh yea, I have the long original version of Das Boot. watched it several times, all 4 or 5 hours of it. |

Totally loved the whole trilogy. Really gritty to watch. Milo was my favourite character.
I watched Eastern Promises and Bigger Than Ben last night. Will be watching Drive tonight perhaps.
I love crime movies so feel free to suggest some more...even if they are not in English. |
| moneyhustler88 | 09-01-2012 06:45 PM | watched pusher ace film.. |
Sorry this isn't a movie, but go watch Breaking Bad & start at Season 1 episode 1. I'm on the 5th season now and it's definitely one of the best TV series of all time. I'd seriously consider paying $100 for an episode if I had to. That's how good it is. |
| waterproof | 09-01-2012 10:27 PM | Hunger Games...OK and Dictator...OK
:peace: |

| slim jim | 09-01-2012 11:16 PM | i actually saw dictator with my girl and her parents, the movie was hilarious. i enjoy his humor a lot but a lot of people don't realize he is saying a lot about the world inside of the humor. |

Seems to me that you may have to start calling her something other than "My Girl" |

It is from broadcast TV so it can't beat HBO's The Sopranos. |
| yotano211 | 09-02-2012 04:35 AM | good and oldie movie "Soylent Green"
"Candyman"-I saw this movie when I was 12 years old. It would be years before I was OK with being alone in the bathroom alone at night. Any movie that has that kind of effect on a person must be pretty darn scary. To this day I have not seem the entire movie again, only 15-20 minutes and I am done. |
