Question Would Google Be Better?

I was thinking. I know everyone including myself have been dreaming of the day when Google launches an auction site. But would it really be better than ebay? I actually think the same problems would arise. Look at the way Google runs Youtube. They suspended smaller users all the time very quickly for copyright infringement (eg. using music in your video) or whatever reason they find without warning or explanation, there is no review process, there is no customer service to help you. Not only that but if your account is suspended and you create another and they link it to the old one they will suspend you again. Sound familiar?

Google's system would most likely be more polished and left with fewer errors. But yes, they are known for their non existent customer service. I still think they would do a better job then eBay.

On Youtube, I heard they pay certain people for content.

This one paid user, lisanova, went and used bots to spam identical comments all over the site.

Yeah the paid users are Partners, they are the untouchables and can basically do whatever they want. I even got one of Lisa nova spam messages

I would like Google as a "fresh slate". However, as fraud increase, they would have to sharpen up just as much as eBay have done.

The only problem I find with eBay now, is that all my real details have been blacklisted, and so have many accounts I've created.

Would be nice to go back to an account with all real info tbh.
