| ebayhateluv | 06-04-2008 10:17 PM | Hey Guys:
Any Mechanics out there? I bought an E-Book, (thinking it was EASY...)--
So- It talks of how :"EASY" it is to convert a Car/truck to run on part WATER...
I cant use it-- I dont have the time or mechanics smarts to do it--If anyone would like the Ebook for free--please pm me.. :)
BTW-- My Kia came in at CarMax today!! Got a great deal--($4k below dealer wholesale)- so I know have 2- 4cyl cars.. !! |
| twdell | 06-05-2008 08:40 AM | i'm pretty good with cars, and that sounds like a scam. converting a gasoline powered engine to water i think would be impossible. you can convert it to bio-diesel though. runs off of deep fryer oil from restaurants. it is cleaned and filtered of course. |
| 2eXclusiive | 06-05-2008 08:57 AM | if that were possible wouldn't that person be able to make millions if not billions of dollars? |
| memphis | 06-05-2008 09:31 AM | Ebayhateluv, the whole idea of running your car on water involves separating the Hydrogen from the oxygen. So your basically spewing pure oxygen out of your tail pipe. They don't have that technology yet but they can run cars on hydrogen Problem is I've yet to see one of these hydrogen fill stations |
| ebayhateluv | 06-05-2008 10:50 AM | HI: Guys, seemed real enough to me? (But I buy alot of scams..:)-- I cant resist a Good deal..
Anyhow-whoever takes this first--heres the link: (BTw they claimed it was a $199 value-I only pd $49) Run Your Car on Water - Download Page |
| 2eXclusiive | 06-05-2008 12:26 PM | $49.00 seems a little steep.
dont you think? |
| Jonas | 06-06-2008 10:48 AM | When you burn hydrogen in an oxygen atmosphere it makes water and it gives off energy. To separate the hydrogen and oxygen in water would require energy.
For running on water if they mean fusion, they'd want deuterium which has to be separated from the regular hydrogen. |
| 2eXclusiive | 06-07-2008 05:32 AM | would you still be able to go as fast as a gas driven car?
i know a car can go up too 253mph a bugatti =D
and i doubt a hydrogen car can go anywhere near that. |
| Jonas | 06-07-2008 04:40 PM | I forgot that people can make fuel from corn, pig feces, and old newspapers. It's called methanol. Race cars sometimes run on it. Some gas cars can't use it, though. |
| aspkin | 06-07-2008 06:12 PM | It's still all about GM Volt for me... I can't wait until these babies come out. :) |
| GreenBean | 06-07-2008 06:18 PM | In the UK, there were several very clever motorists that converted their cars to run on cooking oil, worked like diesel. The cars were confiscated by the police because they were not paying fuel tax.;)
ebhl, you go a sort of bargain because they want US$99 for that info now.:) |
| 2eXclusiive | 06-07-2008 06:51 PM | is it worth buying? anyone who has read it?
i know ebhl provided us with the download link (thank you once again)
but i was just curious, was it worth spending that much money on it? |
| GreenBean | 06-07-2008 07:04 PM | UM, how do I say this? Oh, NO!. ROFLOL:rolleyes: |
| twdell | 06-08-2008 08:58 AM | the volt is a good looking car too. doesn't look like your typical battery car, or hybrid car. |
| aspkin | 06-08-2008 09:20 AM | I hope it doesn't look too dramatic. It kind of looks like my old mustang convertible, some what. |
| 2eXclusiive | 06-08-2008 09:21 AM | you know what car looks like a beast
the bugatti veryron
2.6 million dollars
fastest car in the world it went 253mpg
it was traveling across a length of a football field every second.
1001 horse power
12 radiators
16 clinders
I WISH I HAD THAT CAR!!!!
OH BTW SINCE WERE TALKING ABOUT GAS FRIENDLY CARS, THIS CAR ON A FULL TANK OF GAS GOING AT 253MPH WILL BURN OUT ALL OF ITS TIRES IN 15MIN. BUT THATS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, YOUR FULL TANK OF GAS WILL RUN OUT IN 12MIN.
HERES A PICTURE 08 Melb MShow Bugatti Veyron 21 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
HERES THE LINK OF THE BUGATTI GOING 253MPH YouTube - World's Fastest Car...Bugatti Veyron |
| aspkin | 06-08-2008 10:45 AM | I don't think I'll be racing down the road going 253 anytime soon. I was freaking out going around 150 in my old 87 GT Mustang. Skinny wheels is scary... :) |
| 2eXclusiive | 06-08-2008 10:48 AM | lol,
but its something about the burst of adrenaline you get when you drive that fast making it addicting, maybe i just like to live on the edge. lmao
=X |
| aspkin | 06-08-2008 06:09 PM | Yeah, not so much when you're doing it on the highway, where a crash is only seconds away, but a raceway is nice. |
| ebayhateluv | 06-08-2008 08:04 PM | Heres the article I recd:
Did you know that running a car partially on water can
increase horse power?
That's right. Water is split into hydrogen and oxygen.
And hydrogen is a stronger combustible than regular gasoline.
At your gas station, you have several grades of gasoline
ranging from regular to premium.
Well, hydrogen's burning power is comparable to gas that
is 2-3 grades above the premium gasoline you can get
at a gas station.
So decreasing fuel costs is not the only benefit of converting
your car to run partially on water. You also get better torque
because the hydrogen is mixed in with the regular gasoline
in the combustion chamber of your engine.
Here is the link again to the explanation of how to do it: Run Your Car on Water

If you've already converted your car, then feel free
to stop my reminders using the link below. |

| 411guru | 06-11-2008 12:31 PM | Cars used to run on steam, until greedy oil tycoons made a deal with Henry Ford and Louis Chevrolet to make them use gas. Or so does the legend goes.
Ever wonder why you need to drive everywhere. Because American cities are built all spread out. But why? My theory is this: Every city has a downtown/updown where all the high rises are. When did the suburbs start? American cities used to be built with buildings all crowded together, making a downtown. When industrialization came along, the oil and auto makers made a pact with the government. "Lets make houses and crap all spread out in nowhere", "why not, we have all this land". That way people will need to buy cars because they can't walk and if they own a car, they need gas. Its all a money greedy driven scheme. Thats what I think. I've been to Tokyo, Taipei, London, and Paris and those cities are so compacted that you could walk to everything, clubs, bars, shopping centers etc. That is also a reason why Americans are so fat. Because they have to drive everywhere. Who is going to walk 15 miles to the grocery store or walmart? So if you don't walk, you get fat. Yet Asians and Europeans are skinny cuz they walk everywhere. |

| John14789 | 06-11-2008 05:46 PM | Hey aspkin and ebayhateluv what cars are you driving these days? |
| 411guru | 06-11-2008 07:42 PM | The way gas is going, I'm glad that people who drive house sized SUVs are hurting. |
| 2eXclusiive | 06-11-2008 07:46 PM | people who drive cars like hummers, most of them don't feel it
they already knew when they bought the suv that the car takes like 2mpg
i don't think they feel it, just my point of view |
| twdell | 06-12-2008 08:06 AM | i thought they got 2 gallons to the mile???? Quote:

| highwhey | 06-12-2008 11:17 AM | My brother bought an Elise. I went to his house Yesterday and surprisingly he had one parked in his driveway. He told me he's getting 20+ mpg's, decent for a sportscar. The car is pretty small and fast, it doesn't do too bad with gas either. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 01:14 AM. | |
