Walmart Classifieds Free + xml,csv feeds accepted
 

Something interesting. Walmart just opened a new free classified service run by oodle. The good thing about it is that, unlike craigslist which limits your listing to one area, the walmart-oodle listings go nationwide (USA) and they allow you to list via an xml or csv feed, an unlimited # of listings.

The oodle network has more traffic than kijiji (ebay crap!) and this should be a nice option if you are tired of being "Ghosted" or flagged by Craigslist. Walmart has some serious weight and traffic in retail so this should be good.

I listed a few things the other day. They allow html links from the listings - rel=nofollow though, and I got a few hits. Wait and see how this plays.

I signed up for walmart classified and saw where to post an item. Can you tell me where to go to upload my .xml file.

I was unable to locate the bulk upload option even in the FAQ and help section.


I used Mr grabber to moved my listings from ebay to ioffer. Then I downloaded my ioffer listings to an .xml file and loaded this file to google base.

I would like to take this same file and upload it to walmart.

Use the bulk upload on the main oodle site, your listings will show on the Walmart thing. They prefer xml but accept csv too.
