I now lots of people know this but I just read about it some 10 minutes ago.

Neil Armstrong dies today at age 82. This person was my hero who inspired me to become a commercial pilot when I was a kid. I did not become a commercial pilot but I am a licensed pilot with over 300 hours of total flight time.

I once meet him at the 2004 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, WI. I thanked him and was speechless after that. I wanted a picture with him but he was busy so I couldn't get one. At least I got to see him in person.

I just want to say "thank you" Mr. Armstrong for inspiring many kids to get into aviation and math.

Nonetheless, an American Icon! Sad to say, but most likely anyone born in or during the 80's, probably don't know who he is.

That's just a question to someone that makes you feel old.
