any inventors?

so, I often have ideas for products usually out of necessity I customise it, so not completely new but an add-on to make it work for me or fit but have not had time to think about follow through on invention...

anyone had their product made and sold it, patented...?

Had a tiny part of medical device but not that relevant...sadly
