Quick question on Fedex delievery
 

I have a package coming in from Taiwan. First time I ever had anything shipped by Fedex, I always use DHL for Taiwan shipments.

The shipping tracking stats this

When the package get to ANCHORAGE, AK in the US, it stats it's released from import. Does that mean it passed customs.

I am not worried about US customs inspecting the package or get seized. They are just 60lb of hard drives. I am not worried, just confused.

I know it's fine but did it pass through customs in ANCHORAGE, AK or still hasn't gone through customs.

I kinda need that shipment here right now and not in customs. 3/4 of the package is already sold.

Seems like obama might be slowing customs down

You can file any complaint you want, the drive is in the mail. If you're going use and return it, plz format it first.

No just regular desktop and laptop hard drive, most of them used but in very good condition.

@igotsuspended, the shipment already came this morning. The fedex guy woke my butt up at 9am.

How dare he wake you up! abd how big are the drives? and how much for PC HDD?

500gb to 750gb for the desktop drives but all the desktop drives already are sold, lol. 3/4 of the entire shipment was already presold.

i used to work for a company that sold 10 million a year in hard drives. man if i only knew then what i knew now!

I am having the same thing happen with a package right now. The package went from China to Honk Kong, then got "stuck in China Customs" is what FedEx says. Now this morning it says Anchorage Alaska, but when you look on the update it says Taiwan after that? I dont get it, all I know is my delivery was supposed to be guaranteed, so I really hope it doesnt take much longer, and I had to spend like 30 min on the phone with automation just to get a human on the phone through FedEx. We need real people for customer service.
