I rather buy a house (and rent it out) then an expensive car.. just me personally.

Thats what I do with a Condo/Duplex. Took me about 6-7 years to start making some serious dough. For the first few years I lived in one side to save up money to buy a house in cash or else a 350kish house would be a little more than double by the time you are done. Fu!king banks, aka "crooks".

I love the fact people aspire to own expensive cars.
My main business is high end / exotic car parts so without these people who want these top end cars this would not exist .
But for me personally i never buy anything i at least cant get my money back on including cars.
My idea of a perfect car is i buy for x amount run it for 12 months then sell it for the same price ..
I have no love for cars .. they are a commodity .
And i certainly would not be driving around in a vehicle costing me 10k a year in depreciation just to impress people.
But thats just me...

I use to have a Dodge Stealth R/T Viper blue color.

but speaking of exotic cars where I live there are 21 of them in the area. And this country where I live is full of exotic cars! I do videos on youtube and have a website about it! :)

21 cars in my area are: (21 exotics the rest are rare old school, porsches, range rover, A8's SUV porsches, are not counted as Exotics here since they have so many of them. Benz taxi, 700s BMW taxi, jag taxi, Audi A6 taxi, bmw M3's are nothing also here, if you want to be someone you need a car worth over 80,000 euros!) I even see a G20 leader daily driving a Bentley in this country no joke!

1 Rolls Royce Phantom
1 Viper
1 Ferrari F360
1 Ferrari F360 drop top
1 Maserati 2 door
1 Maserati 4 door
3 Auston martins, different models.
2 Corvettes Z06!
2 GTR , one has a Audi R8.
1 Ferrari 456GTA plus owns a Porsche, (Porsche is not an exotic here since there are so many of them).
2 Audi R8's.
1 Ferrari 458i
3 Bentley GT's within 50 meters of each other!
1 Bentley 4 door.
1 Benz 4 door S600 bi turbo! V12
2 SL500's old school
1 Bmw 750i parked with a Bmw 850i! V12.

All this within 300 yards guys! When I leave my place, I see an exotic car within 30 seconds if not I will have a break down! And within 2 minutes for sure I'll see something passing up!

Now I have a chauffeur with a BENZ! That's right guys! :) It's the City bus! Is a benz! lol :) lollllllllllll

Oh and the best part, I pay 0 cause here you can get on the bus from the back! I just get on and say hi to the driver and sit down or stand up! :) It's how it's done here! :)

very popular in my town. costs me $4.50 to maintain per day. Not sleek, sexy, nor stylish.....but it gets the job done.

I drive the car that I mentioned. I found it on ebay and comes with a rebuilt title, I got it way cheaper vs a clean title Prius. I wanted something that carries lots of packages and very good gas mileage. I kinda hated the funky shape at first but it grew on me. I love it now.

But I do wonder how many people just say what ever on here.

The prius is one of the cars where if you dont own it, you think it is hideous and would never want one, but if you own it, you just dont give a sh!t. The looks just grow on you and dont really realize it, and the gas is amazing. I own/owned a few sports cars and a few hybrids. Love both for opposite reasons.

yotano211 12-18-2012 07:03 AM

My sister thought the was car is ugly but when she saw the driving range on the car, she said "wow".

For me, the Prius was a huge upgrade. I am used to small sub or compact cars. My last car was a Civic compact car, my current one is classed mid-sized. And my first car with power windows, all my old cars had manual rolled down windows. I always hated to get a repair bill to fix those things.
