Are you serious, lol. Manning is not a choker. Did you see the safety? This is the typically fans response to this game. Come on now, dont be that person.

I have to agree with you amazon. The Broncos would not be half as good of a team without Payton. I never really liked the guy, but after seeing him come back from last season, and having the Colts let him go like that after all he done for them. I have mad respect for him now and was rooting for him after the Pack. Sucks to see them both out now.

Sandy D 01-13-2013 09:55 PM

Manning should win the MVP.

He took a not so good team and MADE them good.

I dont believe he is a choker either.

I cannot remember him ever choking or making a Favre like interception like he did yesterday in the past.

Not a Colt fan growing up or now. Grew up in a house full of boys and football.

I give credit when it is due to someone who earned it. I never like Brett Favre at all, and he has nothing close to Manning numbers but gets mentioned all the time along the best when personally he would be lucky to get into my top 25 of all time QBs

Always mentioned as one of the best QBs of all time.

Is one of the smartest players ever to play the game. Knows the game inside and out. Far better then majority of coaches.

I would not mind be called a choker by a select few people with records like this.

******

From 1998 to 2010, he led the Colts to eight (seven AFC South and one AFC East) division championships, two AFC championships, and to a Super Bowl championship (Super Bowl XLI).

has been named to twelve Pro Bowls,

In 2009, he was named the best player in the NFL[2][3] and Fox Sports along with

Sports Illustrated named him the NFL player of the decade of the 2000s.

With one Super Bowl ring he even has one more rings them 99.0 of all QBs to ever play the game.

Yup. He is a choker.

Not to mention what kind of person in life he is and what he gives back to kids.

And I need to add. It was stupid to take a knee with 31 sec to go in regulation in that game. Knowing the Ravens D players were worn out, out of breathe and could have been abused. Coach made the call and the coach choked, not Manning.

Disappointed with the Texans - I did want them to get through Patriots but the game was close to the regular game rout by Pats.

They are a year or two away yet. Need a couple more players on both sides to beat the better teams.

Betting man would bet on the niners and pats but with the way things go you just never can tell. Momentum shows they just might make a great SB matchup.

well if that game they played together this season is any prelude of what's to come i'm sure anyone will take it

Favre was way more fun to watch than Peyton.

But I agree about taking a knee the last 36 secs. Brutal. When you play `not to lose` you usually do.

Its been done before and if I remember all teams that did this lost.

Ravens D was tired and worn out.

Coach screwed up big time.

Two different types of players.

Favre had grit, athletic and but overall less QB talent then Peyton.

Peyton much smarter, better passer, did not have the talent that Favre had around him for many years.

Colts would have went to another SB if they would not have let E James go that one year.

zoneout 01-14-2013 03:34 AM

I always thought John Fox was one of the better coaches in FB. But that call is indefensible. Especially in Mile High where 60 yard field goals are routine. Could you see Bellichek doing that with Brady? No way.

But maybe Ray Lewis is right and God is a Ravens fan.

rsot 01-14-2013 06:50 AM

Let the Colts go Sandy_D :)

Lines for upcoming games:

SF(-4.5) @ ATL
BAL @ NE (-9.5)

Personally I would take ATL +4.5 and BAL +9.5

Yeah those lines are way out of whack. It can happen when you get ultra popular teams like the niners and pats.

rsot 01-14-2013 10:47 PM

Whose betting to win?

Those numbers will come down as the money comes in on SF and NE

So far Pats are making Ravens look silly. Totally outsmarting them.

Loving it!!!

mcmx 01-20-2013 08:08 PM

Can't wait to see this ugly Kaepernick kid get beat badly in the SuperBowl. No way is this Larry the Cucumber looking idiot going to keep up his luck for another week.

Sandy D 01-20-2013 09:14 PM

Holy crap, what a huge change at halftime for Ravens.

Shows making changes during the game can be a game changer.

Not many coaches or teams do this well.

Ravens are a totally different team right now.

Gawd, I cannot stand that team.

mcmx 01-20-2013 09:42 PM

Bernard Pollard better leave that building with a bulletproof vest.

By far the dirtiest player in league history. He ends Brady's entire season a few years ago in the 1st game of the year. Then he causes Welker to get hurt the next year, out for the season & playoffs. Then causes Gronk to get hurt last year - hurt for the SuperBowl and they arguably lose because of it. Then throws a dirty head to head hit on Ridley this year, causing a fumble and completely changing the game.

Looks like the ONLY way to beat the Patriots is if their top players are hurt. That's pretty pathetic. I hate to make excuses but the've been purely unlucky in the most important moments of the past 5-6 years.

NGALO1983 01-20-2013 09:52 PM

I told everybody months ago it would be Ravens Vs 49ers...I already bet $300 on the Ravens to beat 49ers because Ravens was the underdog this whole series & beat tougher teams then the 49ers. It was Colts then Denver Broncos now Patroits.
