| DoubleA | 01-21-2013 07:32 PM | I love my ipad. |
Blackberry playbook. Since I bought it I used it mostly for games and audio. Typing on it sucks, as it probably does on other tablets. |
| mista_khan | 01-21-2013 07:36 PM | Hey , ipads way too expensive for what it is, and ive seen the bb playbook at £149.99 looks reasonable, any problems with it sax? i hope it aint like the black berrys which keep reseting and freezing. |
| BiN4RY | 01-21-2013 07:43 PM | Don't get the BB Playbook, it's absolutely awful in a lot of ways.
There are two types of tablets, 7" ones aka the "single handed ones" and the full size 10" ones. Which one are you particularly looking for? |

or is it better to go with 7" screen? |
| DoubleA | 01-21-2013 08:07 PM | 10" if using for business. But i love my ipad mini, carry it every way, respond to customers via ebay ect. |
| unkown5454 | 01-21-2013 08:21 PM | Are you all oblivious to the Nexus 7 ($199) and 10 ($399)? For the price, both are unbeatable. Acer, Polaroid and some other companies are releasing new 7" tabs that are $150 or less, but the specs on them are horrible. |
| mista_khan | 01-21-2013 08:23 PM | whats the main specs i should be looking for in a good 2013 tablet? |
| hashbrown | 01-21-2013 10:49 PM | been using motorola xoom (dinosaur of the tablets now) for the last year or so took a bit of time to get used to it but now it part of my set up it pretty good for tracking multiple items to different countries in the post all at once with trackchecker app |
| Artann | 01-21-2013 11:01 PM | I'm waiting for surface pro. Price but can run desktop programs! |
| unkown5454 | 01-21-2013 11:25 PM | ^^^^ For the $800 or more that most of them cost, you're much better off with a nice ultrabook. |
| mista_khan | 01-22-2013 06:29 AM | LOL, so nobody has answered my question :( , what specs shall i be looking for in a decent tablet , |

I probaby would go for a ASUS Transformer Infinity, it's a tablet with REALLY high end specs and you can turn it into a netbook/ultrabook by attaching it to a keyboard dock. |

Above might help you better.
In November I got an ipad & iphone 4s. ipad is great. Screen on iphone pointless ( for my needs). Yet the Samsung Galaxy is fine too.
It's choice which you might not be able to make until you 'hold' the tablet in your own hands.
:pop2: |
| exxomscp | 01-22-2013 07:27 AM | Been getting away by using my phone; iPhone 4S for some time. Prior to that, I had an iPad Retina though, definitely worth the detailed screen.
If you want something portable, I really think it should be the most powerful portable device you could get (or a phone), otherwise it's kind of pointless. |

My first tip, with Android, you will need to lean to more of the high end specs. If you choose something other than a Nexus device, you will also be paying out the a$$ for good specs. Quadcore or dualcore (At least 1.5GHz) will suit, but at least 2GB RAM. 512MB or 1GB will only serve to frustrate you with lag.
Windows 8 Pro = too ridiculous of price.
Windows 8 RT = crippled OS on top of ridiculous price.
If you choose Apple, get 3rd or 4th Gen iPad. The iPad mini would be ok, but the 1st Gen specs are horrible so just wait for the 2nd Gen (releasing soon) which will likely destroy the 1st Gen. |
| slim jim | 01-22-2013 01:20 PM | if 7" is enough, for the price i think there are only 2 choices, galaxy nexus or samsung galaxy tab, they are both $199 and offer just about everything you need |
